Clifford Eugene Glasgow, stationed with the 8th Airforce Bomber Group in England, flew missions over Axis held territory during World War II. His plane was shot down and he was captured and held by the Germans as a prisoner of war at Stalag I & IV for a year until freed by the Russians.
