Note 1:
Hedgeman Triplett served throughout the Revolutionary War as a Lieutenant with the Second Virginia Regiment, joining in Oct 1775. For payment for services, he received a land grant. His last major campaign was the siege of York, which led to the eventual surrender of the British.
