1869; Reconstituted and reorganized at Camp Sedgwick, Washington, DC.

03 June 1945; Reorganized and redesignated as Band, 1st Cavalry Division.

01 September 1963; Consolidated with Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 1st Cavalry Division Trains, Korea.

01 July 1965; Transferred (less personnel and equipment) from Korea to Fort Benning, Georgia.

01 July 1965; Headquarters and Headquarters Company and Band, 11th Air Assault Division Support Command reorganized at Fort Benning, Georgia and redesigneted Headquarters and Headquarters Company and Band, 1st Cavalry Division Support Command.
